My first Control box...
Hoppy:
yeah i wont have franken panel that's for sure.... I'm leaning towards a Woody inspired panel as I have a 23" wide screen LCD already
Hoppy:
this box was really more to make sure all the controls work and to give me that arcade like fix until I can design and build my standup
plus I had all the scrap wood laying around in the garage ;D

welcome to the arcade madness.

You can wrap electrical tape around the actuator, that will restrict how much throw you get. Wrap it 3-4 times and go from there.

Nice - I did the same thing, and then spent a long time trying to decide the shape of the cab, and all sorts of details regarding the CP. This is the danger of having a working prototype - it can seriously diminish the compulsion to move forward. In the end, I realized progress will never get made without progress, and the easiest way to move forward was to follow the UAII plans in the book. And after tinkering with CP ideas, I settled on the 4P I have now (some might call it a franken, but 2P Smash TV and 3P Super Offroad were important to me)
