My Arcade Table
« on: September 12, 2016, 06:01:16 pm »
Hello I'm new on this forum and I like to introduce myself.

My name is Ken and I'm in videogaming since I was playing Phoenix for the first time at the age of 6.

A few weeks ago I've finished my first project and now I like to share some impressions.

I've uploaded a video on youtube with lots of pictures:

Also please take a look at the video description on YT for some details.

feel free to comment or ask questions.

 :)

Very clean build you got there. Nice job.
Why do you only have 4-buttons per player?
How do you play street fighter or other games that require more than 4 buttons?

Thank you :)

On the horizontal panel I have 6 buttons per player, two of them are black maybe they're hard to see in the vid. I've choose black buttons to have a consistent look at first sight.  ;)

Seems to work.  :)

On the vertical there are only 4 buttons per player. I don't know any vertical games that will need more than 4 buttons.

Looks nice.
My only comment is I think I would change the black buttons.
They dont really flow with the other 4 if that makes sense.

both panels should look almost identical at first sight that's why I choose the black buttons

Nice work on your table. I like that it doesn't have artwork. Keeps the focus on the craftsmanship and blends into the room.

Thank you

Yes that was the intention, it should optically fit with the living room. No multicolor artworks here.
