They actually brought a Galaga to MB's house so he could get fairly good at it before shooting the scene where he plays it.

I did notice that he'd mastered the dual-ship technique.

Rando:

Watching HGTV last night (lame!) and a House Hunters episode (Rando so lame!) these two rich young dudes were looking for a swinging Bachelor pad in Chicago.  They looked at this awesome penthouse place that was completely empty EXCEPT for an Arcade machine (couldn't get a good look to see what it is, I should have Paused it) sitting in what was the Living Room.  Completely odd and out of place, and NO ONE referenced it!  I kept shouting at my wife "How are they walking by the cab, why are they not saying anything about it, why would that be sitting there when everything else has been removed???"

She did not share my confusion nor enthusiasm.

Guys did purchase that pad and made some nice modifications, place looked sweet, but not a Cab in sight when complete.

I happened to catch some of an episode the other day, and they were in some guy's storehouse or something - he had a michelin man and other weird stuff, and I was waiting for them to find a pin. Sure enough they do, and this thing was almost mint, some obscure title to me, but obviously worth at least a grand. They juked him for two hundred bucks.

Not uncommon. I've seen 're-issues' like this, though in better shape, of Pac Mspac, Centipede/Millipede/Missile Command.

Vulgar Soul:

Speakin of Kenan and Kel. The show "All That" always began with a brief skit of the actors hanging out in some back stage room. In the back ground you can clearly see a cabinet running Shinobi.

Also not really an arcade on tv moment, but in Family Matters there was an episode where a cop is describing some violent situation. I think Karl Winslow asks the cop "where did you get all that from?" The cop replies "Mortal Kombat from Sega." I think one of the writers were a lil confused.

In the movie "Juice" (Tupac, Omar Epps) there's a Street Fighter cabinet (the first one surprisingly, and this movie was released not long after Street Fighter II exploded in the gaming scene) in a scene taking place in a bodega I think. The late Tupac plays the game a few times throughout the film.
