Lets see what you have.

I am running Wahcade on Lubuntu for some time now on my arcade cab.
Just did a Lubuntu installation plus all the necessary emulators, then i installed Wahcade 1 pre1 from Bzr and added it to my autostart.
Have a look at the pictures, (see the link below).

Yeah I did the same except I removed a lot of the startup items, and installed something to drastically increase boot time.
