i have found them as strong as cigarettes, as in what you feel at the back of the throat, and the vapor that is reproduced is on par with all cigaretes, i would not now go back to smoking, wether or not i can stop the e-cigaretes is another story though, i basically have changed from one form of addiction to another, though the latter is definately healthier.

DaOld Man:
I have never smoked, so I admit I havent a clue, plus I dont want to change the topic, but I have got to ask, how are the e-cigs healthier?
Ive seen the commercials, and it looks like they are still putting nicotine in the body, is it just the absence of the hot smoke thing that is healthier?

Great work.   You are an inspiration.    :applaud: :applaud:  Joint pain is a drag but Glucosamine and whatever they package with it is supposed to help.  Never taken it myself.

DaOld Man:
I had some work done on the cartilage in both my knees a few years back. The dr suggested glucosamine.
I took it for about two years. It did seem to help, but it took a couple of weeks of taking it before I felt any difference.
(I think it said it would on the bottle.)
I hate taking pills, so I quit after a couple of years.
Sometimes my left knee bothers me quite a bit, I probably should start taking it again.
My main gripe is that it gets pretty expensive after a while. Its over the counter so insurance dont pay.
Sucks getting old.

Cod liver oil capsules. Does wonders for my knee joints (dodgy after years of Tae kwon do) and, strangely enough, when I lost a good bit of weight I also had joint pain. I was advised by a knee specialist to take whey protein after light leg exercises as it was probably a weakening of the ligaments in the knee due to the dieting rather than the joint itself. He reckons every stone you lose equals 4 stone less pressure on the joint itself so it was unlikely  inflammation or strain on the joint itself.
