jayska01:
>:D >:D >:D After crusin the site for month or so i decided to build my own mame. at first i was really excited about building one from scratch. After doing some reading I said no thanks. So I went online and found a dying dynamo cab 100 bucks (not working) grab it!!!. so now starts the tear down then rebluid!!!
jayska01:
So at this its gutting time :)
Here is my plan
Fix old wodding working and paint
Castings and reinforce the base
new t molding and marquee
24"LED
Modding a Xarcade tankstick with sanwa and happ comp buttons
running a pc with maxiums arcade and ps3
2.1 speakers and sub
led coin lights >:D
That's all I can think of.

WEEK ONE TARE DOWN!!!!
IT seems it used to be old SF3 cab :) it looks like it was being using as 1943 ( any cool vertical game like that haha) the CP still has the 6 button layout under the bondo >:D
jayska01:
WEEK 3 REPAIR AND PAINT
I bluid i nice strong holder out of 3/4 mdf so i can remove the tankstick and also the keyboard and mouse underneath.
Remove the old racing pendel, repair the bottom corners, reinforced the bottom and added 2" casters. ( best decision so far) and gave it 3 layers of Gloss paint with
foam roller very happy with the result so far >:D

WEEK 4 GETTING CLOSE!!!!!
I grabbed the tankstick for 100 bucks on kijiji it came with both pc and ps3 attachments so i couldnt say no >:D But the buttons are ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---!!!! so grabbed two sanwa JLF's with 12 happ comp buttons. i like the concaved style because it reminds of my youth haha now that its done time to move on!!!!
With all the buttons swapped out tankstick is done. i bought small 14" light at homedepot for marquee my bright red t molding came in from tmolding.com (where else :). Bought myself a 24" LED ASUS monitor, it has dvi hdmi and vga. so im set for everything i need :) mounted to 1 X 6 plywood. braced with 3/4 mdf. Its not going anywhere >:D >:D >:D >:D
