Export VS Domestic
« on: September 24, 2011, 09:13:04 pm »
Riddle me this PinBatman...

Other than the obvious 230 Volt/50 Hertz operation VS 120 Volt/60 hertz operation and the WMS 3 slot coindoor, what are the differences between a WMS or STERN game made for export or one made for domestic use?

I know STERN made UK specific games with cabinet mounted buttons to control Posts on the Left and Right side drains as well as the middle.

Beyond that what else have you got for me?

Just the facts Ma'am...  speculation need not apply.

Certain games might have some minor differences, but aside from some software tweaks most games are identical. Lots of re-imports have been converted back to proper voltages and had the coin doors swapped and it's pretty much impossible to know.
