Author getting big bucks for another book aimed toward video game fans: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ready-player-one-author-inks-397998 Also read that the movie rights for Ready Player One were bought by Warner Bros before the book even hit the shelves. The original author drafted a screenplay, but there are so many references to things that would have to be licensed to appear in a movie, that it might never get made or would be stripped of most of the nostalgia that makes it great. |
