HA! Forgotten about that one! So I HAVE seen another B & W Kurasawa! It's quite forgettable though...

I think I've only seen 'Fistful of Dollars' once as a kid. Incidentally, one of my favourite movies of all time is 'The Good the Bad and the Ugly'. I only revisited it last year and it really has stood the test of time.

Give For A Few Dollars More another look.  I love all three and the second one is the best IMHO.  Once Upon A Time in the West is very good as well.

Hoopz:
I went on a Steve McQueen kick a few years ago and finally saw Magnificent Seven.  I enjoyed it.  I haven't taken the time to see any Kurosawa films yet but I want to.

Danny, have you seen other McQueen films? I still need to watch Bullet, but The Great Escape is great as is the Cincinnati Kid.

Vigo:
I haven't seen the Cincinnati Kid, but I love both the other Mcqueen films.

Just don't make the mistake of watching Bullitt on a small tv. Half the fun is getting dizzy watching the big chase scene it on a large screen.

The Great Escape is an absolute must see for anybody. Great cast all around, and while it might have sugercoated the gravity of the situation to showcase the actors more, they got the escape methods down very accurately.

What surprised me about Bullitt was that the car chase lived up to the hype.  It is really something to see.
