StriderDSO:
I can't be of any help, but if you do figure something out, would you be able to post it here, because it's probably something I'll have to deal with soon!

Do both the U360s have unique IDs assigned under Windows? (they need this, right?) Do they work fine in all other games? Just not SSFIV?
clickhea:
yes they work fine in every other game except this one, and they both have unique ids so i have no idea what the problem could be.
clickhea:
okay so heres what i have figured out so far

player 1 joystick must be set under the in game joystick options.
player 2 joystick must be controlled by xpadder. (mapped under in game keyboard 2 options)

It really is a huge pain in the ass because although its working now, it seems like at times its still acting a bit funky.
StriderDSO:
Weird. Once I get mine running I'll let you know if I run into similar issues. Thanks for your solution.
StriderDSO:
Old thread I know, but I did get this working on my machine in case you were still having problems, Clickhea.

After some time, I ended up getting around to installing SSFIV:AE with two U360s (all buttons are using an I-PAC, and not the U360s built-in encoder). I had some troubles similar to what you described where I would try to buzz in with the second player and I would lose control, or where I would press 1up's start, and then it would think a second player was joining and then I wouldn't be able to control player 1 anymore.

All problems now seem to be resolved after installing Joy2Key and using only the keyboard 1 & keyboard 2 configurations in the game, making sure that joystick 1 & joystick 2 settings were cleared and set to <NONE>. Everything works perfect now.
