Buckethead prefers convex pushbuttons

Went to see Buckethead last night.  Good show.  Interested to note the arcade style killswitches on the Les Paul.  Took a look at Gibson's website, and sure enough  . . .

I thought of doing that many years ago. Scrapped the idea 'cause I thought it would look goofy. On my strats the bridge/middle position on the p-up switch is "off", grounds the output. That was Ace Frehley inspired tho....

Goofy looking is relative when you're sporting an upturned KFC bucket on your head.  ;D

I would have a hard time drilling a 28mm hole in the top of a Les Paul.  Hopefully not too many kids wreck good instruments doing this modification poorly.
A more classy way to do it would be to set up a dummy speed knob on a post with a switch underneath.  an awesome way would be to keep the knob functional with the push switch underneath.  These ideas are for us mere mortals, Mr. 'Head is welcome to do whatever he pleases.
