Mame on Dreamcast
« on: September 10, 2003, 06:42:52 pm »
I haven't got my act labs dreamcast steering wheel yet...  But it's going into a sitdown cab..

But I realized something.  I would like a pc in there also (for pc games.. but mainly for a few 270 driving games that I'm not putting on my standup.

then I remembered that I haven't really got mamed running yet on dreamcast...

So the question is...

How good is mamed?  Can I run older games full speed?

I want to run just classic drivers for now.

Do mamed work with analog controllers?

How about light guns?  two light guns?

thanks!

MAIM is, I believe, the one with lightgun support. I would also recommend looking into the many single game arcade builds. Reaper (Ian Michael) has made many, and if he ever compiles the source I mailed him, we should have a Pong emulator for the Dreamcast. ;D
