Games that require a Spinner and/or Trackball
StriderDSO:
Hey everyone,
I'm building a cab and was wondering if someone could post a link or list of the games that require a spinner or trackball. I haven't quite decided if I will include either of these devices in the CP, and want to see what I might miss out on. I've googled for this a few times but have only come across partial lists or counts (I'm horrible at web searching though, so it's probably readily available, I just haven't stumbled upon it yet). Is there some site I can go to that clearly list all such games? Thanks!

some typical spinner games are Tempest and Arkanoid. Ther aren't a whole bunch more of them, but there are some games that can be fun to play with a spinner such as asteroids, even though it didn't actually use one.
best examples of trackball games are Centipede and Missile Command.
Check out Maws, do the deluxe search and you can select the type of control to see what games use what.

Don't forget Marble Madness. :applaud:
As for the spinner games, there's also Warlords, and other games that utilise a spinner in conjunction with other controls such as Tron, DOT, and Forgotten Worlds.
Any driving game that utilises a 360 degree (free spinning) steering wheel, such as Pole Position or Super Sprint, can also be played with a spinner. In fact the GGG spinner, the Turbo Twist 2, has an optional steering wheel attachment to enhance the "playing experience" of these driving games. The games can also be happily played without the attachment, using the spinner on its own.
