ArcadeVGA question
leapinlew:
Cool, thanks.

At first i had just a very small 4:3 pic in the middle of the screen. open your config menu then aspect will probably say 3:4 which its not. i pressed my select key on that and it changed it to the correct view. I get chd errors when starting that game. here's a pic. (ignore the lack of red and all colors it takes red to make) My j pac is missing red and im waiting on a replacement.

Everything works fine and i didnt do any of that stuff your talking about. I dont recall it saying to install an old version of mame.B.T.W each game has there own screen adjustments in the config menu then slider controls.

If you have not made these changes, you are running games at the desktop resoluton. If you do set it up properly and run native resolutions you will notice a huge improvement!

Thanks... so yours is working fine? Let me try a fresh install.
Is the config menu in tab or in a service menu?
rapomstage3:
in the tab menu. I did follow the instructions at ultimarc to get everything all true res and all that. Im gonna have to say im spoiled by hd and other futuristic technologies because, after about an hour of trying all my favorite games in there native formats ,,i switched back to the way it was. Don't hate me. I dont think my games are running at desktop resolution they just look better and smoother in direct 3d to my eyes.
