removed the monitor and chassis. going to try to troubleshoot with all the components on my workbench. Hope it will make things easier. Still not sure what the issue is...

If I recall correctly, that board is more or less a Galaxian bootleg, so you might have some luck searching for repair information on that.

If you're going to MAME it, I'd suggest getting a 48 in 1 or something similar. That cabinet will not lend itself well to horizontal games. I've got some extra trackballs laying around if you want one and you're ever in the medical center.

Thanks for all your help. I have decided to MAME it. It is not worth the effort to get the original game to work...
