This has been covered but never fully answered far enough to assist me. Where can i buy..or buy the parts to build a kick harness adapter that i can use with a j pac? I dont want to cut into original wiring. Iv'e heard fingerboards thrown out there..To me it looks like some kind of circuit board and foreign. Basically i want to plug into something..Then take the loose wires coming out the other end and screw them to the j pac terminals. Where do i get that. And who can build it for me if it takes soldering? Its an Mk4 cab. |

You need the molex header to connect to your molex connector on the kick harness. The extra button wires can be soldered to the header and connected to your jpac. I think it is a 12 pin but have seen pictures where the connector was numbered 1 to 15. You would have to count the number to pins you need. Soldering is not all that hard and you will probably have to do it for other connectors. Molex header |

Would it just be the easiest if i buy another kick harness and cut that one up? I literally understand nothing about that link. Its not that i dont want to learn ..but im a hands on kind of guy and ill order all the wrong stuff if not told exactly what to buy. Im 2 weeks away from getting the j pac and arcade vga and want to avoid the disappointment of not being able to set it up immediately. I believe it's 15 not 12 from what Ive seen BTW.Thank you |

If you don't want to use the original kick harness then you don't need a kick harness to replace it to connect to the jpac. All you need is crimp on connectors for the switches and wires to go to you jpac terminals. I spec'd the headers because you wanted to keep the original kick harness in place. |

Could i double wire the buttons? for instance wire from the j pac just like you said but don't move the kick harness? So i would solder the wires into the header..then clip the header to the kick harness? Is that right? I cant find the 15 pin one that i need. Is that the only component or is there other housings and things that i need? |
