CRT tubes will always hold a place in any old-school gamers heart, but with the current development of "HLSL" into MAME, LCD cabinets may end up being more versatile than ever. My only concern is the space you may need to compromise for 4:3 aspect ratio. I'm interested in seein some MAME cabs that went LCD. I'd especially like to see them in action, with your favorite game(s) running (peferably in their original aspect ratio, but whatever you got is cool). If you have a LCD MAME cab, showcase it here! |

I'd post mine, but I'm still building it (Which I blame all of you evil people here who convinced me to graduate from a slickstik frankenpanel to a modular panel to a full blow cabinet!) I'm interested in seeing what others have done too, especially as I contemplate rotating the display. |

This isn't a MAME cab nor a "showcase" cabinet, but I'm going to be building a 4 player MAMEcab using this cabinet style. Rotatable 42" LCD and I'm going to see about installing a second LCD as well. |

Kinda hate to do this but, BUMP. Still interested in seeing all you LCD MAMEers out there! |

Two rotating lcd cabs: DNA Dan's Mine - not completed Switchcade There are others if you search on "rotating LCD" |
