The t-molding is in and I have wired up the control panel to the IPAC-2.  The wiring process went smoothly except when I was done player 2 button 3 would not work.  After much troubleshooting it seems that the IPAC connection for that button doesn't work.  No idea why but it isn't a problem as I just wired it up to Player 2 button 7 and reconfigured mame.  I have the tv component in adjusted as good as it's going to get.  It was a fussy process and even though it isn't perfect (small keystoning and not completely straight edges), it's not really noticeably once you launch a game.

I still have some cabinet wiring to do, a new marque to install, some front glass is in the mail, and I still need to find a new mirror.  I have some feelers out for the 1st surface mirror but no returned calls yet.

The big mistake that I made is that I started playing it.  It will be hard to keep working when I can play instead!   >:D

I also let me five year old daughter kick my butt at Street Fighter II.  So was so happy that she asked if we could play again before breakfast!   :)

From what I see, it looks real nice. How about some more pics. I assume the control panel might be a little higher than most cabinets, I like that because I sometimes get a little lower back pain from standard hight panels.
great job

What did you use to paint the outside of the cab? Did you paint over the original melamine coating, sand it first? I have a PGA golf cab I'm in the process of converting and I'm not sure how to progress in the paint department yet.

Looks good!  :applaud:
