Hi Xiaou2,

I understood you I just jumped mirrors mid paragraph and wasn't very clear, I think I was still thinking it out while typing.  doh.

"It would explain the rust type marks that I see on the front of the mirror."  Here I'm speaking of my current T2 mirror.

"I could see the glass having a slight reflection and making a ghosting effect with the mirror."  Here I am talking about the mirror that I ordered.  When I say, "I could see the glass having..." I really mean,  "I can imagine the the glass having..."  poor choice of words.

I can see that I was about as clear as mud.

I have been sticking my laptop up to our bathroom mirror and full length mirror at a 45 degree angle and it seems ok.  It's an lcd vs crt though and I think the glass is thinner, so I will just have to wait for the new mirror to arrive.  I still need to get you that pic of the T2 mirror as well.  I didn't grab it while I had it out but I will have it out again in a week or two.  Not a lot to take a picture of though really.  On the back it's all white and in two places the white is thinner and if you look close you can make out a pattern like a star burst. It also has the words TOP and BOTTOM printed in red.

I emailed miror.com asking them about this ghosting problem and they confirmed that it would be an issue.  They were kind enough to cancel this portion of my order as they no longer have the ability to obtain a 1st surface mirror.  I also ordered tempered glass from them and I look forward to letting you know how that goes.  So far https://www.miror.com has been great to work with!

Yohan:

I made a little progress yesterday.  I wired up the marquee lights and stuck in the old T2 marquee for now.

I also wired up the coin door lights.  Having received a new soldering iron and solder I put the coin door volume control into action.  I unsoldered the pot from the receiver control board and soldered new wires into it.  I then attached the pot to the coin door and attached the three wires to it.  I used the smaller input selector knob for now and I think it looks alright but I have a smaller one ordered.  I put the receiver to the radio selection and tested it out.  It works great!  It's awesome when a plan comes together!

Martijn:
Add an extra keyslot and make that into the volume control :P Adjust volume with the turning key
