| I-PAC Wiring Question |
| (1/1) |

This is probably a scrubby question, but I know very little about wiring and I've looked everywhere and can't find an answer. If I were to wire two inputs to the same connector on an I-PAC, would they both function? For example, if I were to create two sets of controls (one with an 8-way joystick and another with a 4-way joystick), could I wire both joysticks to the same four connectors? Or could I connect both a button and a coin door to the same coin connector? Or add a second button to the 1-player start connector to use as a dedicated shift button? I'm not necessarily looking to do these things, I'd just like to know if it's possible. |

Yes, you can hook up multiple buttons to one connector set. Easy as putting a second set of wires in the connector. If you wanted to get really crazy, you could also hook up a toggle switch to have only one button register at a time. Not hard to do at all. |

Also, check out the videos that I made on how to wire up controls. http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=80229.0 There are other useful videos on that topic above as well. Good Luck! DeLuSioNaL29 |
