I'll ignore the Holy Trolly talk, this isnt PnR, but why is this true for you but not for her?
--- End quote ---
Because apparently we are all slave owners on this side of the ocean.

What a nonsensical post from X2. Talking about wanting to spend money on things like keeping people from "mowing over their daughters" and "spotting troubled people" What, do we send the thought police to arrest people before they have a chance to commit a crime? Hold on while I get my third world slaves to fetch my big American checkbook, I need to donate to this cause. ::) I sense that X2 is troubled and needs to be preemptively locked up for the safety of society. After a lobotomy some "re-education" we will release him in the wild again. Maybe.
Hoopz:
Before this thread goes to PnR or PH, I just want to say thanks for the kind thoughts regarding the passing of my friend. I'm sure most people have known someone with cancer so it's difficult for a lot of people to deal with.
Ironically, the youth group that I work for is a partner with Relay for Life and our members have started to really become active in that cause. It just wasn't enough yet to help him. :-\

If you don't know it, how can you call it cheezy and useless?
::)
Rando:
I liked Amy's music, so I'm sad she's gone.
I feel for troubled people, so I'm sorry that she never got the help she needed.
However,
Has she not been the train-wreck that she was, I don't think she would have been as good. Her lyrics conveyed real pain (see Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Janis Joplin, etc.), which touches people, which is why there are so many more good sad songs than happy. I'm sorry for her and maybe the family, but I'm in no way surprised by the way things went down, and surprised it didn't happen sooner. More so than "Rehab", I think her ealier popular song said it better:
--- Quote ---I cheated myself
Like I knew I would
I told you, I was trouble
You know that I'm no good
--- End quote ---
If nothing else, she didn't seem to lie about who she was, which is refreshing.

--- Quote from: Xiaou2 on July 26, 2011, 06:54:02 pm ---The very people Jesus was angered over, he was basically calling them Trolls.
The people shooting rocks at Jesus? Trolls.
Me when I was a little kid? Troll.
I am never going to claim to be any holy man. Merely that my outlook on life has changed, and Ive become a better person.
And even as I labeled the Trolls (and trust me, they know they are... as they even label themselves as such) , I did extend my true sympathies to their mostly self created sufferings. Unlike them, I am compassionate. Yet in return, what do I get? A curse. Which is very telling, and pretty much an expected reaction.
Very sad indeed. But hey, I was once a Troll.. and if I could change, I feel others can too. There is always hope.
Theres no curse in this world that will ever do worse than Ive done to myself. Only I alone can save or ruin my own life. And only a fool would believe that such things would work in the first place, especially to those who are in the right. (the light of love cuts through all darkness)
Dabbling in darkness only consumes oneself in it. So in essence, they are merely just damning themselves even deeper into a dark hole.
--- End quote ---
A curse ?
How sad it must be for you to go through life completely lacking a sense of humour.
The "curse" in question was a line from the movie "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai across the 8th Dimension", as have been all of the other quotes I have made in this thread,
You are, indeed, a moron.
Stop spouting your nonsense about how enlightened you are (really, who thinks that quoting Lord John Whorfin is a real curse?) -- one of us has actually studied with the Dalai Lama, and one of us hasn't.
Tibetan is a hard language, but nowhere near as bad as reading your posts.

Rock on Cheffo, my sentiments exactly.
And regarding your view of the economy X2? Cmon man. Jeebus. Im too lazy to write out how I really feel, and this thread is probably going to go to PH anyway, but man. X2, you are seriously one messed up individual. I feel sorry for you. :-\ As usual, Vigo pretty much summed up what I wanted to say.
