Netflix once again screws over its customers

Nope, read the financial statements they have minimal international operations so the exchange rate doesn't matter to them one bit. Nobody would recommend a price increase solely on volatile exchange rates in a domestic focused business, it makes no sense.

Yeah, but theres 1000's of envelope stuffers, and 10's of server geeks. Probably balances out, no?

That makes sense because all the streaming stuff is garbage. Seriously, there is barely anything to watch, all the decent stuff is DVD only anyway...
