Ideas for a gamecube/ Wii cabinet
(1/4) > >>
starwarsfan541:
I am currently planning on building my first arcade cabinet that would house my gamecube and my older Wii system.  I was originally going to use the X-arcade controller and adapter, but I decided lately, that I wanted to build my own control panel.  Is there ay guide or examples of building a control panel or cabinet for a gamecube/ Wii?
Donkbaca:
What games would you want to play on it?

It would be pretty simple, just build a cab as usual, hack pads for controls, and put the GC/wii somewhere you can easily swap the disks.

The problem you are going to have is a lot of the games use analog controls, so you won't be able to play a lot of things right...

that and using a Wiimote so close to the display and "sensor bar" might be difficult as well.
Ginsu Victim:
Why Gamecube AND Wii? Wii also plays Gamecube.
Well Fed Games:
I think this is going to come up more often with the WII coming down in price (well, GCs are already dime a dozen, I guess). I'd like to build an Ikaruga bartop using a GC, but I really didn't find much about padhacking a standard GC controller. If you come across any good info, post it here!
