Other jamma boards work with sound? |

i tried all those things, i cannot seem to track down the issue, i am going to spend some time today on it. It has me baffled. |
| DaveMMR:
Is Mortal Kombat one of those games where you have to go into service mode to adjust the default volume? I know I had to do that with MKII and MK3 (the Mame versions, that is). |

Could be a short in one of the wires. I would also try taking a multimeter to each end of every speaker/volume wires to make sure you are getting a connection. |
| Q*Bert_OP:
Check the ribbon cable between the sound PCB and MPU. Make sure its on correctly(red stripe to pin 1 on both sides). Try squeezing the connectors with pliers. I have an NBA Jam out that has a flaky ribbon cable. All cables that go between sound pcb and MPU present? -5v present? |
