Not having space in my own house to place a cab, it's always fun living through the exploits of others in their cab builds.
Your SF cab was beautiful, and this one appears to be coming along nicely as well.
Not sure if the builds for the 360 include it, or if the 360 is able to handle it, but have you checked out the HLSL function of MAME? I didn't think my 4 year old laptop would be able to handle this supposedly power intensive feature of MAME, but was surprised to find out that it can indeed handle it, and the results are incredible. It VERY accurately recreates the scanlines, bleedover, curvature, etc. of old school CRT monitors on an LCD screen. I have connected my laptop up to my 42" LCD HDTV using S-Video and when running MAME using the HLSL feature in it, my jaw just dropped. Hence why I have recently started compiling ideas for a second arcade joystick. (Can't build a cabinet, but can build a joystick using the control panel parts from my halted cab-build). Just currently delayed by a broken right medial maleolus in my ankle that has me on crutches and a walking boot. Until that heals, and until I'm off of the pain killing medication, I can't be working with power tools or even going around Home Depot to pick up the MDF I need.
Anyway, cab is looking great and if you can get a build of MAME to run on the 360 that handles the HLSL feature, give it a try. It's stunning.
