Game Over: Death Of The Arcade
boardjunkie:
If you collect old arcade games, the "hoarding" kinda goes with the territory. If you wanna keep them running for years down the road, you gotta have a stockpile of parts...'specially hard to find/obsolete stuff. Its not like you can go down to Rat Shack and buy D/A converters for an Asteroids board....

Nice documentary. Could definitely be made longer. Covered alot of ground in 10 minutes. :applaud:

Thats why we all should make "Arcade Hoarding" why not, there are many posts here that I come across that says i can only make a small arcade or just one more cabinet because the wife will ***** we'll you know what im saying. Im sure most people here put alt of important stuff to the side for there Arcade machines. If im wrong i will not reply to this post any longer! :dunno

This much is true, 1 machine [8 boxs spare parts]...... Its the triple digit collections like mine, and the others in that video.

Actually the hoarding aspect made me feel better about my relatively small hoard -- Gerald's warehouses and Subby's barn put my stash to shame!
