| Wiring a U360 with wiring harness to buttons |

So I'm building my very first cabinet and I think I need a little help with wiring 101. I started off with just a UltraStik 360 instead of an I-PAC and I'm using the Ultimarc wiring harness to directly wire the buttons. I know this should be (is) the simplest thing in the world, but I want to make sure I do it right. Can anyone point me to a n00b picturesque web site showing how to do it? What else do I need in addition to the harness to crimp on, or finish the ends? Thanks. |

Depends if u are soldering or using quick disconnects. Either way, you'll probably need some extra wire for the grounds. Solder you need a wire stripper, soldering iron and solder. Disconnects u need a wire stripper, crimper and disconnects. U just need to connect a different coloured wire from the harness to the NO tab on each of the buttons and the black wire to the tab labelled Common or Ground on each button (wire to one button and then from that button to the next etc). |

Is there a particular place where people buy disconnects and crimper suitable for the job? |

Ultimarc has them already made up. UltraStik Button / Encoder Harness Optional Wiring Harness for connecting keyboard encoder (output mode) or 8 buttons (input mode) Price: $8.00 |

Yep, I got the wiring harness. Nothing more than 8 wires coming out of a jack which goes into the U360. The rest of the stuff I'd like to get in the USA if possible though. |
