Ok sorry if this has been aked 1000 times before, I did try searching forum/google for the answer but seems that everyone only ever mentions MDF when they talk about DK builds.

What was the original cabinet made from? Was it a plywood with a laminate (like cheap furniture uses) or painted?

Help appreciated as always :)

Not my pic.  Go to KLOV and search Donkey Kong Molding.  Laminate on the left.
