Finaly had a day of so I got some work to my projects done. Would have liked to have gotten more done on my cabs but had other stuff to take care of as well. I stripped the black vinyl of the side and for the most part it came of easy.

My roomate smashed my coffee table (not on purpose,) and it needed a temporary top. I went and got a peice of mdf for it and covered it with some white vinyl I had laying around. I think it turned out alright. At any rate, I had an extra piece after that for fixing the damaged areas on the cab and won't count it as money spent out of my change jar budget.

Well, I got her on her side, cut the bottom off, hit it with a rabbit joint bit; also, I cut the extra piece and did the same. After glueing the piece and clamping it down, I drilled small pilot holes through the original ones and screwed it down. The board that the mobo and power supply mounted to was in there so tight that I wedged it in to put upward force on the side piece. Between the presher from the board, the clamps and the screws the gap closed nicely. I then applied some wood putty.

...Continued
This thing needed to loose some fat. So more fun with the saw, I clamped my giude down, tripple checked everything and cut.

Finished getting all the vinyl off after removing many parts. The coin door/ mech is in pretty good shape and the cab came with a primal rage jamma board, Supposedly. I am a noob and don't know how to tell one jamma board from another. I can say this though, writen on the board in black marker it says robtrn.

I am realy liking the look of this thing now.

have to look into it. may be a good place for saving up my change.

Stupid noob question warning. I see other posts where in they are able to type then place a picture, type the place picture and so on, I was wondering how to do this as to make my posts less confusing?

It's a pain. There's a thread in Project announcements called "Thread for images" or something like that.

You go there, add a new message with "something" in the message body, then attach your images to that message.

Save the message.

Then go back to it and copy the links from the images that are attached.

Then, go back to the thread you REALLY want to post to, start you post, copy the link to the image into the post, and then surround it with

open-square-bracket IMG close-square-bracket {your image path name here, dropping the curly brackets} open-square-bracket /IMG close-square-bracket

I can't actually put those codes in because the board will replace them.

Hopefully, that makes sense....

Testing, you can usually use the code tags to insert preformatted text

Code: [Select]
Put your description of your first image here

Then talk about your next image

That should help...

Nothing new to done to the cab. My roomate has been sleeping every chance I get to work on my project. Considering everything I have to do on both my cabinets is loud it's been a no-go.

Was looking for some opinions on a "Bleach," theme for this cabinet. Any thoughts?

Maybe some side art similar to this

that looks like a primal rage PCB to me, a dirty one =)

you should crop your pix, even if you don't hot link them from the picture thread:
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Between rain yard work and being in the hospital this thing has been neglected. :badmood:
If fortune smiles on me today, my roomate will get up early, there will be a lull in the rain long enough to get this thing outside and get it in primer. If not my other cab needs my attention as my friends are eagerly awaiting some 4 player x-men action, as am I. As for this cab; though fighting games are not my cup of tea, it will be deadicated to those alone.

And heres some pics of where it is at.
