New Member with a Taito cab

Not sure if this is the right place for a basic intro, so my apologies if I should have posted elsewhere.  At any rate, I've been lurking for a couple of months & joined after I picked up my first arcade cabinet.  I ran into an ad on my local Craigslist for some relatively cheap cabinets (price range of $75-125).  Here's a pic from the ad:

From this blurry pic, I decided the one on the left would likely follow me home.  And after handing over $75, it did.  ;D  It's nothing particularly special, but the cabinet (aside from the base) is pretty solid & mostly complete.

My immediate plan is to fix the monitor (picked up a rebuild kit) and to repaint the cab (with Taito stencils) this summer.  I'll likely install a multicade board, assuming I don't take a shine to Bloody Wolf.

Those are my favorite cabs, ever since my first cabinet which was a Stratavox.  The coin doors are PITA to find parts for, especially the lower on.  I had a new coinbox door fabricated for that cabinet.

But enjoy they are a lot of fun!
