I did consider a multi Williams panel to cover all the games at once but I just did not want to compromise with the Defender joystick not being set low down.

Did you forget the reverse button at first?

I'm guessing you are looking at the pic with the parts layed out in front of the bare CP?  The hole on the left is the reverse button hole. There is a small 4mm hole just up/left from there which is the centre of the joystick shaft. I just hadn't got round to routing out below and making the shaft hole larger. I knew that button would be close but it was all worked out beforehand.
