Looking for stainable veneer - super thin!

yeah - it won't be easy but I think it is completely doable.  I don't think Home Depot sells veneers either - they have edge banding but that's obviously not what I'm going for.

I found THIS site online and it looks like they sell what I will need but it will be expensive.

Also, I may have to make a separate thread but what are people using for cocktail monitors these days?  I had a Happs Vision Pro but I moved it to my DK so I need to replace it.  I might just go for a 19" CRT monitor but maybe there is a better solution?  I'm worried about using an LCD due to viewing angles...

Really our Home Depots and Rona and such sell large rolls of veneer in the same place where the edge banding.

Bender:

You can try Woodcraft or Rockler too

Thanks Bender.  Check THIS out.  I assume "pre-sanded and ready to finish" means I can apply stain and poly on this veneer, right?

$70 is steep but I have no option...

Yes that would mean that.. Its basically ready to roll ..
