I can't believe I didn't remember it uncovering a picture. The more I think about it, the more it becomes apparent that the reason I found this one was right after I added a dedicated "Mature" emulator for MAME to my cab (a list that was just Mature titles so they wouldn't be mixed in with the regular stuff...so I could turn it off when it shouldn't be on). I have a way to see how many times games have been played on my system, so I'll check that out for verification. --- End quote --- Hi, can you give some directions on how to do this? This is exactly what I need to do. Or, if it's been covered before can you help point me in the right direction? Thanks, TD |

I would figure that you could just create a new mame folder with the appropriate roms. Then, in your front end, add it as a second emulator. Or, in your front end, create separate lists of roms, so you can switch between the regular & adult lists. I suppose there are many other ways. |

Yeah, I wasn't sure if he meant an emulator for mature games or finding out what games have been played and how many times. The first is easy for most front ends. The latter requires a front end that tracks those details and stores the data in a format you can access. I use GameEx and it's stored in a .mdb file, so I'll just copy it over to my main system that has Access. I was going to check last night, but my other projects got in the way. |

I guess I need to spend more time trying to configure MameUI rather than playing games...Currently I've moved the age appropriate games to the Favorites folder but it would be nice to have my son only be able to access certain games when he is playing. Thanks. |
