It slides up in front of the screen and goes up a little behind the speakers, the bottom sits on the little wood shelf that sticks out at the bottom. The L shaped metal piece that goes under that little "shelf" (picture) screws in from the bottom to hold the glass in place.

Pic is of my KI cab, but its exactly the same as an MKII

Are you 100% sure about these measurements? The width is good at 25", but the height appears to be off by a couple inches or I need 1/8th inch glass to slide up more behind the speakers.

How does 25x25 3/8ths sound?

I already have this 25x26 5/8ths piece and I just can't see it fitting unless it can somehow slide up over 1" inside the speaker area.

I can double check the glasses, gimme a few min

the glass slides up behind the speakers, ends up about 1/4 in from the piece of wood. I trid to take a pic with the tap measure, tough to do one handed. Looks like mebbe it was 5/16ths, my bad.  it would still fit =)

Man, I appreciate the effort. Let me give it another shot.

The only section of the back of the cabinet that can be removed is the lower half. The top half appears to be stapled in, so I'm trying to install the glass entirely from the front.
