My first mame cab
« on: May 12, 2011, 06:26:41 pm »
Hey guys. Ive been around here for quite a while and have finally got the space and cash to do a mame cab. I picked this up from a local repair shop (i had no idea we had any left in town) for 100$. Its all there and and is completely blank for me to do whatever i want. Its been awhile since ive fooled with mame and the first time for doing a cab. So im going to dig out my (im not your friend arcade for dummies) book of the closet, read up on the forums and form a plan of attack.

Its a textured laminate. The gold T- molding is coming off is lieu of something colored.

Here is what im using for a monitor for now, this cab fits a 25 in, this may be kinda small but its at least its a tester/placeholder at best it will go great in this cab, we will see. Its a 1998 model i bought it in 2001, gave to a friend years ago and its now sitting at his place unused.

Image is off bing but this is the one i have, 21in sony trinitron! Hope it still looks good, it did 2 years ago.
