MonMotha:
I told you.  Don't even think about trying to buy the actual connector unless you're in Japan (in which case RS-Online stocks it).  Last I checked, JST was out of them, so nobody in the USA could even get them at all.

The Molex KK series fits *JUST FINE*, is cheap as all get out, and very readily available.

Molex P/N 10-11-2153 is the 15 position housing (about a dollar each in qty. 1), and 08-55-0102 is a nice gold-plated contact (about 30 cents each in qty 10+).

I can't find a source for Molex KK 3pin connectors that admit to being 2.54mm (found many smaller and larger) yet... still searching.  Feel free to share one.  I have found some 2 pin ones.

As for the 15pin housing, can you please explain to me how the one from jammaboards.com with a 2.54mm pitch doesn't work and this one will?  Now, I am NOT saying they can't be encouraged on and work ok (I'll point back to the original post about that).

What I have found is this:

16pin jst-nh connector (still need contacts, but I can find those).  I think these look promising.  Still a min order of 10pounds, but better than $200 and waiting.

Found another site in country that has them instock!  Min order is also qty200.  Hollow victory.
MonMotha:
The 2.54mm (0.1") Molex KK series should be available and stocked at any major components distributor.  It's an insanely common connector.  I'm not sure where you got that I was saying only ones from certain distributors would work.

Why do you need a 3 pin connector?  I thought you had said these were 15 pin.  Anyway, the 3 pin housing would be Molex P/N 10-11-2033.

If you wish to buy the exact connector, feel free.  I'd love to do so, but I'm not willing to shell out for such a high minimum order if I only need a couple when something that will work just fine is readily available.  I'm a fan of keeping things "ideal" where feasible, but it just seems so unnecessary in this case.  You can buy whatever you want.  I'm just trying to give you a VERY readily available alternative that will work quite well.

I don't know why I thought you suggested a 3pin connector.  I just did.  :dizzy:
