Help with HANTAREX CMT 900
« on: November 23, 2012, 03:01:50 pm »
Hi Calamity!
I own an old cab with an Hantarex CMT 900 arcade monitor (horizontal monitor rotated to vertical inside the cab).
I configured a system with Pentium 4 Mobo 1 GB RAM, ATI Radeon 7500 Graphic board, Win XP 32.
I installed crt_emudriver_6.5_1.2_xp32_multisync and groovymame32_0146u4.013f.
I rotated mame image to CCW90 in configuration even if windows desktop is not rotated (is there any way to rotate windows desktop in emudriver ?)

Now i'd like to set the best monitor_spec line for my monitor.
As you suggested in other post, i used CGA settings, slightly modified according to what i found in monitor manual.
This is the line i have now in mame.ini:
monitor_specs0    15250-15750, 40-60, 2.000, 4.700, 8.000, 0.064, 0.192, 1.024, 0, 0, 464, 496

The result is quite good for now, but image is vertically shrinked (black bars on top and on the bottom).
Maybe 464*496 are wrong sizes ? As a matter of fact, Windows desktop occupies all monitor area... ???

More, i cannot understand from the manual the right values to use for h/v syncs and porchs.
This is what i found in the manual:

Have you any suggestion ?

Thanks in advance!
