| emphatic:
You can get the +5V from the Akihabarashop PS360 (the VCC). |

i think it came with it, i just tried to plug it in, it has a black, white, green, and red cable and it connects to the slot where it says GND, VCC, d+, d-...so that connects to the joystick? |
| emphatic:
No, that is just an alternative to using the USB port to connect the PCB to whatever you want to connect it to. The connector to the far left in my picture shows the screw connector marked VCC. If you have the PCB hooked up to a console/PC that screw connector will have +5V on it. |

so i would just add a wire to where it says VCC and wire it up normally or would i have to buy an additional piece for it to work? Do you know where i can find that cable on the akihabara website? |
| Rice Cube:
ohh nevermind i think i got it, i just need to add the VCC connection in my wire setup right? alright cool, i think ill order one happ 360 and try that out. but im still thinking about that sanwa jlf you told me about. what would be easier to mount to a 3/4 inch plywood control panel? also can you suggest some pushbuttons for it too? im using the normal happ pushbuttons with the cherry microswitches, but im thinking of changing the switches to something that doesnt click as loud, or just changing the pushbuttons all together. |
