Want leaf switches for a DOT spinner
« on: March 04, 2002, 04:39:38 pm »
I'm looking for leaf switches like the ones used on the Disks Of Tron spinner.

From the pictures I found of the spinner, they seem to have 3 leaf springs on them, 2 are used for the actual switch and a 3rd one is probably used as a spring to keep tension on the spinner so it doesn't just go up and down when spinning the knob.

I'm in the process of building a DOT spinner and if everything is successfull I might even build some to sell to all the MAME/DOT fans out there!

I'm in Canada near Montreal and I also have a PO Box in the US for easier shipping.

Try Macro Specialties http:// http://www.marcospec.com They are a pinball supplier look under Playfield parts and then click switches. There are a few different types of leaf switches used for pinballs. In case you need open closed or something different. Also check out Steve Young's Awsome Pinball Resource http://pinballresource.virtualave.net/ Great guy to deal with too. Though kind of like Bob Roberts you have to send a check but only for your first order. Also try Bob Roberts I think he sells them for buttons anyway. http://personal.msy.bellsouth.net/msy/b/o/bob147/

Good luck
