It would probably take me hours to track down and locate all the clips with the video game references, even if they were posted online. I don't know if I want to put in that much time when I'd rather be playing the games themselves.

I can recall some of their references so if you want to go look, knock yourself out.

Robot Chicken -Famous for several sketches including Dig Dug (first episode), and Centipede (penis as a joystick). They've been referenced here before.
Simpsons -When isn't there a reference? Far too numerous to recall much less list, this show practically lives off of pop culture references.
Scooby Doo -My most recent recollection is with Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase, the story arc is inside a VR simulator and the final battle occurs in an arcade. However I know there is at least one reference in the Pup series and likely references in some of the others series, though not likely the early series pre-1978.
Futurama -This series is made by the creator of the Simpsons. In one, Earth is attacked ala Space Invaders. In another, the characters enter a VR simulator. Amongst many others.
Fairly Odd Parents -Timmy Turner owns an game console which is part of a central plot in several episodes.
South Park -Several episodes such as the Go God Go! story arc.
Drawn Together -There are spoofs to Link and Pikachu.
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends -In at least one episode a Gamecube-like box appears.
Maya and Miguel -An educational episode citing the dangers of too much game playing.
Dora the Explorer (has that weird PC UI) <~~
Family Guy -The most famous reference is an opening intro with Stewie riding his tricycle and ending up in a Doom sequence.
Superjail -Last night episode sported twins controlling a robot bent on killing everyone. The interface has a 2600-like look and feel.

One more I forgot about.
Teen Titans -Some episodes sport the characters playing games

Wow thats odd. I was just thinking about doing a similar thread. :dizzy:

Ive just been watching the new Pink Panther and friends with my son, there was a good one called 'Pinxilated'.

Its about an arcade with ticket redemption and the Pink Panther ends up in SF2 as Ryu! and running thru a level of Donkey Kong.

Last Sunday's Simpsons had a sort-of Ms Pac Man machine (more of a spoof of one), that got smashed by a panicked dot-com bust victim. LOL

Man, the Simpsons sucks these day, with really lame stories, but they had some fun spoofs of animated shorts in this last one, including a 3D scene making fun of Pixar movies and one in claymation spoofing Wallace & Grommit.

Dude, its been on for over 20 years, Im surprised it didnt start sucking sooner. I have no IDEA what kind of story they could come up with nowadays, using semi-tranditional animation that WOULDNT suck. I say its time to let the Simpsons die, they have been around long enough.
