WinVice is the better of the two for about the last two years. CCS64 does not get updated as often and the updates when they do happen are not as comprehensive as Vice's. I also find the compatibility for WinVice to be that much better. |

On a related note, what is the best Amiga Emulator out now? |

--- Quote ---On a related note, what is the best Amiga Emulator out now? --- End quote --- The best and really only option for the last few years is WinUAE...constantly updated and upgrades almost every amiga machine and process known...unlike WinFellow which was ok when it first came out but really only runs A500 games and lacks so much that Winuae offers. |

Thanks. Never having actually owned an Amiga, how easy/hard is getting the WinUAE up and running? Got any tips? |

Red, Let's not hijack this C64 thread with too much Amiga talk, but I'll give you two quick comments. 1) WinUAE is probably the most complex emulator you will ever work with, but if you're an Amiga fan, it's WORTH IT. 2) Your best bet, short of taking the time to configure and test each individual game 1 by 1, is here: http://www.headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=winuaeloader -EVEGames |
