When you build a bartop for the college course you teach and tailor some of the work so students create old style arcade games and have classic arcade game competitions each year to feed your own habits.

Heh I am going through this right now. I have denied several houses the wife liked when looking solely based on the fact that it wouldn't work out for my game room.

When you peruse a store's laminate section solely to look for colours that would look good on a future project.

When you are at work the majority of website tabs point to pages like KLOV, BYOAC, Ultimarc, GGG and Twin Galaxies.

When you see material odds and ends and think "Man, Ond or Drventure could probably use this for something cool."

When you can't walk past the expensive wood in a hardware store without thinking of Pixel's Mission Control Project.

The moment for me was the day I started caring about the controls. I went from "An 8 way should work with Ms. Pacman" to "I need a 1.25" red ball 4 way physically restricted leaf joystick to play Ms. Pacman properly".
