I'm working on adding the graphic now for you.
Load up MaLa and right click to get into the options.
Goto the GAME START tab, you'll see an option that says, "USE FULL SCREEN IMAGE AS START SCREEN" (or something like that).
You'll select that option then point MaLa to the location of the image you want to use, I include the load screens in the layout folder itself.
I just find it easy like that.

(1) I made the characters smaller
(2) I added a graphic in the games list
