Console wheel question
« on: August 19, 2003, 02:17:12 pm »
Is there an universal wheel that is compatabile w/ a PC as well.

edit

I do not intend on hooking a PC wheel to my consoles.  I am looking for a universal console wheel that also works on a PC.

I don't see why a xbox wheel plugged into a xbox to PC adapter wouldn't work on the PC. The PC should just see the wheel as a regular xbox controller.

Of course thats just theory... If somebody wanted to send me the adapter I'd give it a try.

I have a PS1 to PC adapter and the Control Panel config for it shows wheel compatibility (s well as fishing controllers). Not tested it with my PS1 wheel yet as I only got the adapter a couple weeks ago.

No reason why any console wheel with the correct PC adapter and drivers wouldn't work, though PC to console isn't practical due to the console driver issue.
