Thanks for your kind feedback. In some ways I think the sideart is the best thing with this build. That is mostly the only reason for me not to scrap this cabinet and do a rebuild with all lessons learned.

The sideart is a self adhesive vinyl that is printed in this huge inkjet printer (refer to attaced picture) :)
And as I wrote before, he is my friend and I had at least a 50% discount so the official price is unknown to me.

These are the original pictures I used. Then recolored and vectorized etc...

thats a big printer alright.. i could see wanting to make a new cab from what you learn.. i too am already planing my second cab and not finish with the first.  i just used posters and 3mm adhesive spray for my side art and it works great.. probably not as durable as the plastic stuff tho..  at any rate what im getting at, with s uch nice artwork, and the cab is really not bad at all from my eyes..  id say leave it and make a barttop, or a cocktail :)

thanks for sharing.

he probably charged you a few pennies above cost.

chris.

Exactly, many lessons learned are already implemented in my second build (a scaled down minicade, separate thread here somewhere).
Used the same print studio for sidearts by the way and still got that discount. At least I think so ;)

My next project would either be a pincade, coctail or as my recent thought of doing a scaled down SEGA (linked driving games) twin bartop cabinet. I would love to kick my friends ass in SEGA Rally or Datyona and the other lovely Model 2 games

Have been thinking of a jukebox project as well... so many ideas - so little time...
