Once I'm over half a million I'll chuck one in :) Anyway, the point of my post is just to say what a great idea this is :) I think a lot of us get carried away with the woodwork, selecting the authentic sticks/buttons/spinners, nice tidy wiring, setting up the frontend to your own exact specifications, hiding windows, making sure you have every obscure rom ever, etc, etc.... Even though I've limited my romset to games from my youth that mean something to me, and a few that I've discovered through playing around with MAME I still find that I'll stick something on to make sure it works, make sure the buttons are set how I want them etc but then I'll come out and start fiddling with some other aspect of emulation. This light hearted competition gets you actually playing these games again propperly which I think sometimes gets lost amongst the rest of the hobby! Nice one :) --- End quote --- +1. I've been on here about 5 years and only just started participating in these 'friendlies' a few months ago. Like you say, sometimes it gets hard to see the games from the cab  |

AAAAAAAAAAAAH! So close. If I wouldn't have crashed and burned so hard on an early level. Oh well, here's the screenie and inp anyways. 1,309,880 |

Finally got a decent score for me. 538900 inp attached for those interested |

With scores like those, I'm out. My highest ever was about 330k. And time around, about 240k. I eagerly await the next comp :D |

This run was a bit sloppy so I didn't think I'd pull this score out. 1,421,840 inp included. |
