Got my USB Controller from Paradise, but...

Apparently you have a different "standard of etiquette" as it applies to you, as evidenced in the thread I linked to.

Regardless, the interface in question does not normally come with .187" connectors.  If yours did, and you didn't specifically order them that way, it would be very surprising.  If you read the post, I was not referring specifically to what you sent the OP, rather the device itself as made available to many other sellers by it's manufacturer.  The first step to solving a problem is identification.

As for my mention of us bringing this item to our catalog, and what we addressed while doing so, it was simply due to the mention of the issues inherent to this specific interface as normally shipped, lest someone think that what is about to be added to our catalog have them as well.

BTW, do you realize that the XIN-MO interface is meant for both PS3 and PC use, and that it is not compatible with Windows OSes below 2k?

Glad to hear the OP got his issue sorted.  I hope the new stick works as well for his purposes as the one he originally wanted.

I would be to leave it alone, make a neutral post, link to third party information, or shoot the seller(even if a competitor) a message saying "Hey make sure you check this post out, someone has a question"  In my opinion, that would have been the polite approach...

FWIW, you've already broken your own rules of etiquette with respect to the link that RandyT already posted.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

You've also had a few challenges about your business practices that people have not mentioned here (and many here would freak out about), so please spare us the righteous indignation lest you open a can of worms that, while it doesn't bother me, will do only harm to you.

When I finally get around to my finishing the CP for my MW, it would have been a toss-up between you, RandyT and simply waiting to source more translucent Wico buttons via local contacts, the forums and eBay.

Not a big order and practically no profit in it, but it is the only item that you carry that I can't easily find elsewhere for less.

And, at the end of the day, you really need to

I am sorry this discussion has to be online, I tried to resolve this with PM's but for some reason the discussion is here instead of in private.

No, that is not a different standard of etiquette, please read the thread you linked, someone asked a question about my products and linked to my site from that thread. To answer their question, I did what I stated was appropriate above I gave a link to a third party site, and removed myself from the discussion.  I did not announce we were going to have the product, give my input on the leaf switch debate or participate in anyway other than to point out there was information available from a third party.

And I think you are missing my point, I think it's great that you post as much as you do and help as many people as you do.  My issue is not the merits of your future product, it's just where it's appropriate to bring that up.

I do appreciate your concern for our knowledge about our products and would be happy to share some ideas if you want to talk about these things seriously.

IL sticks are great sticks, I'm sure there won't be any issues.

OK enough.  I have bought stuff from both vendors, find both of them to be great people to do business with.  The OP's problem has been solved.  This community is small enough lets all just play nice.
