ledwiz and rgb pushbuttons

Savannan:
Hello all....

looking to upgrade my control panel. i want to use the white pushbuttons that has the RGB leds under them.  I know that there are 4 wires per rgb light setup and i'll have a total of 28 push buttons

-  So will that mean I will need 4 ledwiz's?

- And with ledwiz, can I change each button to 100000+ colors using the supplied software?

Thanks

Sav

If you want an rgb on each of 28 buttons, that's 28*3=84 inputs, 84/32 = 2.6, so you'd need at least 3  32 port LEDWiz's.

You may find you'll want some additional cabinet lights as well, so you may want to get a 4th to cover your bases.

And be prepared for a LOT of wiring.

And yes, you can have a full gamut of color out of each LED. Checkout the videos of LEDBlinky to see what's possible. It's an awesome piece of work. Well worth the reg fee.

RGB LEDs seem to be a hot topic lately. Seems like there is a need for LED controllers with more inputs... ;)

+1 to that!
