you are correct, a std playfield is 42" long, a p2k playfield is 43" long so it can only be the illusion created by the reflection/interaction.

with mine the dmd reflects on the glass beyond the playfield..

anyway irrelevant give we are talking apples and oranges with a real pin vs virtual.

Yep, the V-Rod was gonna change that. Pin2000 was going to change pinball. Neither happened.
I don't wanna crap up macattack's thread with the discussion, it was just an analogy about how sometimes re-inventing the product doesn't bring the coveted "new audience".
