Sorry its been a while since my last update, have been super busy lately, but great news, I have finally put the coin door cover on and installed the coin push buttons and coin door sticker I got from GGG!
I cut out another piece of MDF and put laminate on the sides and front. Then I removed the old coin door frames, then cleaned up the area a bit. After it was all cleaned up, I went ahead and measured out where I was going to place the coindoor sticker. After it was in the right place I drilled out the holes needed for the pushbuttons, and mounted them. Now it was time to crawl inside the cabinet and mount the while cover. I used wood blocks to screw into the back of the cover that overhung in the coindoor holes to pull it tight against the cabinet, that way if I do decide later on to add real coin doors, I have the option and there is no extra holes in the cabinet (inside or out).
Its really hard to get a good shot of the sticker and the buttons all lit up, but it really does look good in person.
The next thing I did was debate over what I wanted to do with the extra pushbuttons I had on my CP. I really wanted to hide them under the cab or maybe on top, so while I was pondering what to do, I went ahead and mounted the pushbuttons for the power on the top of the cab.
One is for the TV and the other is for the PC, I though about just having 1 button for both, but I like being able to keep the PC on and just turn the TV off if its going to be running all day.
After I thought about it long and hard, I realized since there was close to no room on the underside of the CP to mount the 2 pushbuttons, and I used them all the time to get back to the list of games and make on the fly adjustments (reconfig buttons, dipswitches, etc..) I decided to mount them on the CP in the top left corner equal space apart from the start buttons. I am happy with where they are. This also leaves me room to make a instruction sticker for the bezel when the time comes so guests know what these 2 buttons do.
After I finished all the drilling and rerouting of all the pushbuttons I finally got around to putting the marquee on the plexi glass. Sine right now I havent rewired the volume for the speakers, I have to slide the marquee up to adjust it. Thats my next step, then I can perm mount the marquee.
All in all its still looking better and better the more I do, I might have to wait until after Christmas to get any more done, I am really busy these days, but I will keep the updates coming. Until then, here are a few more pics of its current condition.

Hi, Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I saw ur use of the unreal coin door and just needed to ask a quick question.
As far as I can tell thats the Unreal Coin Door from groovygamegear (see below)
http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=89&products_id=308
I'm wanting to put in those coin buttons on one as well, but on the GGG site they already have the coin slots printed on.
In the picture below (from your post) it doesn't have them and even has the holes for the buttons.
So I ask is that just something u asked for at GGG or did it just so happen to come like that?
Cheers, and sorry for bumping an old thread.
